Competitive Analysis Decks

During my internship, I conducted competitive analyses across the multiple categories to identify opportunities for website enhancements, new features, and strategic content initiatives. I collaborated with cross-functional teams to develop marketing briefs and creative concepts for upcoming site launches and layout updates, ensuring cohesive storytelling and alignment with brand objectives.

Additionally, I worked on an intern capstone project focused on elevating Ralph Lauren’s luxury handbag category. The project integrated marketing strategy, product design, distribution planning, and digital storytelling, ending in a comprehensive proposal to strengthen brand positioning within the luxury accessories market.

The project proposal was sent to RL’s Handbag Distribution team in Korea.

Social Media Marketing

As a Campus Social Media Guru for Victoria’s Secret PINK, I led the brand’s digital presence on Howard University’s campus, managing content across Instagram and TikTok. I created and posted graphics, videos, and story content that promoted brand initiatives, campus events, and product launches while maintaining a consistent posting schedule

. Through creative direction and trend-driven content, I helped amplify brand awareness, boost engagement, and strengthen the brand’s connection with the Howard community.

Co-Founder

As Co-Founder of Gen-Blk Zine, a digital and print publication dedicated to amplifying Black voices and celebrating creativity across fashion, music, and culture, I led the brand’s marketing and audience engagement strategy.

I developed and executed social media campaigns, coordinated content rollouts, and implemented creative strategies to grow readership and community reach. My role also included brand positioning, visual direction, and collaboration with writers, designers, and photographers to ensure cohesive storytelling and an authentic editorial identity.

Capstone project

As part of my E-commerce internship, I collaborated on a capstone project to conceptualize a brand partnership for Steve Madden. My team and I proposed a Diesel x Steve Madden collaboration, focusing on denim collections designed for college-aged students.

Key contributions included:

  • Creative Direction: Developed cohesive product designs blending Diesel’s iconic denim with Steve Madden’s bold, fashion-forward style.

  • Marketing Strategy: Designed a targeted campaign incorporating social media, influencer collaborations, and campus events to engage the Gen Z demographic.

  • Logistics and Planning: Outlined distribution plans, pricing strategies, and sales goals to ensure market alignment and profitability.

Interactive Strategies

Through my Marketing & Creative Strategy Internship with Interactive Strategies, an advertising agency, I was paired with Special Olympics and American Lung Association as my clients. I developed copy for several 2025 Equipment drive and holiday emails. In addition, I designed creative concepts for the emails and META advertisements on platforms like Facebook.
